YES for Arkansas
Hazen Elementary Gifted and Talented Students in grades 5-8 have the opportunity to participate in the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase each year. Business plans written by teams in grades 5 and 6 are entered in the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase (YES) for Arkansas. YES is a statewide business plan competition where students in grades 5-8 showcase their creativity, intuition, and innovation. The competition is designed to encourage Arkansas' students to act upon their ideas and talents in order to produce tomorrow's businesses. This approach encourages students to apply what they learn in school to a real world setting. For more information about the YES for Arkansas competition, visitwww.aeafoundation.com.
